Referring to #707, this is quite similar, but that PR is stale, and did not solve all the cases that I had issues with (provideReferences and provideDocumentLinks).
When using clangd in vscode with, in my case, a custom build system, trying to do symbol resolution (Go To Definition, Go To Declaration, Ctrl-clicking a header-file include statement) will result in a file being opened in the intermediate build folder.
This PR adds a settings flag and middlewares to follow symlinks back to their actual source file.
Same idea as #707, the feature is behind a flag that developers can opt-in to.
